We wanted to see how yeast was best activate. To do this we used 3 conical flask, a teaspoon of yeast in each one, some warm water in each one and some sugar in one flask. We then put a balloon on top of each flask. We found out the flask that had the yeast and sugar inflated the balloon. It showed that when yeast had sugar it activates and creates a gas called carbon dioxides gas.
